Reverse Circulation Drilling

The Reverse Circulation drilling (RC drilling) method involves air being forced down between the inner and outer pipes of a dual wall drill pipe with the cuttings being forced up through the centre of the drill rods. This is the opposite of conventional DTH hammer drilling which instead sends the air flush through the centre of the drill string, with the cuttings being forced up the hole outside the hammer and drill rods.

"Shruthi Geo" owns 4 reverse circulation exploratory rigs and this facilitates drilling up-to 200m. Compressors of 1200 cfm/320 psi and 1300 cfm/350 psi are used for the process. Reverse Circulation Drilling is typically done to explore and collect samples of minerals and ores for its gratifying speed, cost effectiveness, and efficiency irrespective of ground formations. "Shruthi Geo” has completed 106581 meters of drilling in RC.

Reverse circulation equipment available from "Shruthi Geo”: includes:
